While Patriot WDG Herbicide can be used for pre-emergence activity, it typically delivers the best results when used for post-emergence control. Some of the target pests it is effective against include Chickweed, Dandelion, Fixweed, Plantain, Wild buckwheat, Wild carrot, and Wild garlic.

This product is not for sale in the following states: AK, CA, DC, HI, PR, and VT. The active ingredient in Patriot WDG Herbicide is Metsulfuron Methyl, which makes up 60% of the formulation.

For application, the recommended rate is 1 oz. per 100 gallons of water for spot treatments, or 1/10 - 1 oz. per acre for broader applications.
